VODPOD MEDIA LLC ("VODPOD", "we", "us") operates a text messaging programme for people who ask to hear from us by text. We use it to reply to enquiries, confirm and remind you about calls and shoots, send assessment results and follow-ups, share project updates while we are working together, and occasionally let clients know about something new we offer.

These terms apply to every text message you exchange with us. By opting in you agree to them. They sit alongside our terms of use and our privacy policy.

You give consent to receive text messages from us in one of these ways:

• Checking the SMS consent box on a form on vodpodmedia.com and submitting your mobile number.
• Texting us first at the number listed at the bottom of this page.
• Giving us your mobile number and telling us in writing or on a call that you want text updates.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive texts in order to hire us, book a call or take an assessment. You may only opt in a number you own or are authorised to use.

Message frequency varies. Conversational and service messages are sent as needed, in reply to you or about active work. Recurring informational messages are limited to no more than about 4 messages per month.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges apply to every message you send to us and receive from us. We do not charge you for the messages themselves. If you are unsure of your rates, check with your carrier.

Reply STOP to any message from us at any time to stop receiving texts. We will send a single confirmation message and then send you no further texts unless you opt in again. You can also ask us to remove your number by email or by calling the number below.

Opting out of texts does not remove you from email or stop us from contacting you about active work by other means.

Reply HELP to any message from us for assistance, or contact us directly using the phone number or email address at the bottom of this page. We answer during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Central.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device and network conditions, and is not guaranteed. Supported carriers may change without notice. Do not use text messages to send us anything urgent or time-critical.

We collect your mobile number, your consent record, and the content and timestamps of the messages you exchange with us, and we use them to run the programme described above.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell your information. Your mobile number is shared only with the messaging providers that transmit our messages on our behalf, acting on our instructions, and only so that a message can be delivered.

Do not use this programme to send us unlawful, abusive, harassing, deceptive or infringing content, and do not use it to send unsolicited commercial messages. We may stop messaging any number that is used this way.

The programme is for business communication with people aged 16 or over in the United States. If you change or give up your mobile number, tell us so that we do not text the next person who holds it.

We may update these terms as the programme changes. The effective date at the top of the page tells you when they were last revised. Continuing to exchange texts with us after a change means you accept the updated terms.
